ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY WITH KAMEHAMEHA LIONS AND FRIENDS…on Sunday 10/6/24, Lions Club members from Kamehameha, Aloha Pono, and Palolo Lions Club, along with “Team Pickleball” made swift work picking up opala along the Pali. Not everyone on this aina is pono…in 2 hours time we hauled in 26 full trash bags of litter. Please take care of our environment!

Lions and community minded friends do great work! You do not have to be a Lion to partake in any of our service projects. Though being a Lion has other perks….a Lions Club member is often described as having a fulfilling experience where you feel a strong sense of community, purpose, and personal satisfaction from actively contributing to positive change in your local area by helping others through various service projects, while also building meaningful friendships with like-minded individuals who share your desire to give back; essentially, it’s about being part of something bigger than yourself and making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
